I enrolled on the course to pursue a new career in journalism. I looked at other courses and after contacting CMP and receiving a positive and professional response, this was the course that would best suit my needs.

It met my expectations in every way. This is my second distance learning course after an Open University business course some years ago, which really did not live up to my expectations.

Communication was speedy and professional but also with a personal friendly feel, and the course content was very comprehensive, relevant and interesting.

I learned about different types of writing, media law, promoting myself as a journalist, house styles and many other important aspects. Within three months of beginning the course, I secured a job as a journalist for a local newspaper.
