At the age of 76, I retired from the IT industry after 30 years. Looking for a new freelance career, I decided to take the CMP Copy Editing and Proofreading course. I cannot be happier about my decision! A big thank you to the College of Media and Publishing.

Great course - interesting, fun and challenging! A great many aspects of the copywriting industry were covered including newsletters, emails, and direct marketing, as well as tips to find work after receiving the qualification. I was well supported throughout by my tutor who was always on hand to over excellent advice and feedback. Overall, an incredibly positive experience.

I recently completed a proofreading and editing course with CMP and have to say it was a great experience overall. As a self-taught to proofreader, I needed to take a course that made sure my work was being done in accordance with expected standards. My tutor (Julian Brouwer) was knowledgeable and gave valuable feedback and guidance after submission of assignments. I also found submitting assignments clear and helpful.
