There was a good level of information supplied within the learning material, as well as further reading suggestions outside of CMP and I enjoyed the varied online media used to cement the learning outcomes. I have experienced online courses in the past and was impressed with the level of tutor support available.
Shuna Meade was amazing. Her response time was faster than expected, helping me when I needed extra clarification and returning my marked assignments with helpful comments and suggestions.
I think the course covered every aspect of proofreading and editing. I liked the mini tests and activities included in the learning material to gauge my understanding. I also found that the practical assignments suited my learning style.
I learned that I have the basic skills to become proofreader but that I will need to practice to build up my speed and experience.
