I wanted to get in to the publishing business and the CMP courses, the proofreading and editing course in particular, seemed like an opportunity that should not be missed.
The course introduced me to the elements of proofreading and copy-editing in a clear, pleasant manner. The fact that it managed to challenge the way I viewed and used text is what I valued the most.
The course administration was simple and efficient, communication was prompt and friendly, and I was allowed the freedom to take my time.
I got very helpful advice when I asked for it, but was also prompted to use my own brain.
I liked the fact that the content was diverse and reader-friendly. It was actually quite enlightening. Would I recommend the course to a friend? ABSOLUTELY!
