I enrolled on the course to improve my proofreading skills. I had previously done some proofreading work, but was not yet fully to grips with many aspects of proofreading and copyediting.

Not only did it provide much proofreading and copy-editing practice, but it gave me a chance to develop proofreading on screen as well as on paper. Also, the course introduced me to other aspects of proofreading/copy-editing (ie, academic).

My tutor was helpful, friendly, and provided great feedback.

The content was informative, straight forward, and provided useful links to additional resources.

I primarily learnt the differences between proofreading and copy-editing, what academic proofreading would entail, and valuable techniques for proofreading a document well.
