The course gave me an introduction to the world of proofreading and copyediting which is exactly what I wanted. I liked the ease with which I could download the learning material and the fact that the course was divided into relatively short sections.
I learned about the role of the proofreader and the numerous areas in which this expertise is required. I learned that, despite not having studied or taken exams for a long time, I am still able to do it successfully! It has given me the confidence to embark on some freelance work and maybe to take another course to further develop my skills.
