I was made redundant while I was on maternity leave with my 4th child. I needed to find something I can do at home and around school hours. I have always been interested in proofreading and hope that this course will help me to become a freelance proofreader.

It actually was much better than expected. It was thorough and looked at aspects to proofreading I had not expected.

The tutorial support was very good! Julian usually responded well within the agreed times and even messaged me on weekends or evenings when I was panicking about something or another. He was wonderful and very supportive.

The course content was very thorough and interesting.

I learnt that there was more to proofreading than grammar and spelling!
