I enrolled on the proofreading and editing course because I thought it would be interesting and give me another skill I could bring to the workplace.
The lessons were very detailed and I had plenty of opportunities to consolidate what I had learned in previous lessons.
The tutorial support was excellent. Whenever I needed any further information or advice, Cleland was on hand to help.
The course content was very easy to follow and the individual lessons gave just the right amount of information. The lessons led me through the process of proofreading / editing step by step, consolidating as I went.
I learned that proofreading is not as easy as it may appear and that it can be very demanding of your concentration. I also learned that if done well it can greatly improve any text to the advantage of the reader.
Proofreading is a diverse subject and needs to be followed step by step, which this course did.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would certainly recommend it to anyone. It’s interesting and thoroughly engaging.
