The course has taught me what is involved in different aspects of proofreading and copy editing. I was impressed with the breadth of coverage of the learning materials and tasks and the links provided to a range of useful websites.

The proofreading element taught me the importance of applying a consistent house style. I learnt how to proofread on screen using adobe reader. The copy editing element of the course taught me about the different levels of copy editing and how to edit within the text.
