IIDA India – working with CMP
Who we are
The Intermission Industrial Development Association (IIDA) provides an array of educational solutions to underprivileged students.
We inspire them and give them the right support to be transformed, and to transform their communities.
We also work with CMP to provide online courses with UK certifications to people living in India.
The courses give them the chance to break out of poverty and to grab the profession that they dreamed of as a child.
CMP provides IIDA nominees with discounts and the chance to work with expert English tutors who help to further their futures.
What we do
We offer underprivileged youth in India a chance to break out of poverty and to pursue the profession that they’ve always dreamed of.
Mission
IIDA’s mission is to empower the underprivileged and marginalized through life skills training towards a quality life.
Community colleges
We aim to provide a comprehensive learning experience to youth from underprivileged communities, equipping then with the skills, knowledge and inspiration to achieve real world success.
Skill centres
With our well-equipped training facilities, we give young women and men the opportunity to take part in both formal and non-formal skill courses with some being government recognised.
Home and hostels
Holistic care for children and youth in homes has been the centre of our focus since IIDA’s inception. We believe that with love, family care and good nourishment, children and youth from destitute backgrounds can develop into strong, engaged individuals.
Volunteering
A practical way of helping is through volunteering. Giving something of your time, energy, skill and attention, and impacting lives through that directly. Whether you come from overseas or from round the neighbourhood of one of our branches, we’re always in need of helping hands and inspiring ideas!
