People who start our blogging course sometimes say: ‘I don’t know what to write about.’

But the truth is, they have plenty of great ideas for articles. They just don’t realise it. It’s a question of recognising the opportunities that are right in front of you.

For example, set yourself the task of writing an article about your local car boot sale. There are plenty to choose from.

Go along and be nosey. Is there a punter there who has finally discovered item that he had been seeking for years?

Or maybe a trader who starting selling the junk out his loft and who is now making £100,000 a year out of boot sales.

Either of these ideas would give you something original with which to attract the reader’s attention. And you could probably sell the articles, too.

Blogging is all about making the most of everyday opportunities.
