CMP proofreading and editing course graduate, Susie Porter, has recently landed a new role as deputy editor-in-chief for journalism publication, Bylines Scotland

Susie, who graduated from her CMP course recently, had been editing and writing articles for the Bylines for some time, before being offered the new role. The new role involves editing around half of the articles submitted to the website and also finding new potential writers.

Here’s what Susie had to say about her time studying with us: “I really feel that your course was the missing piece for me. It enabled me to apply my skills in a structured and detailed way that is so important for the industry. The information given about dealing with authors, managing files and being thorough has been indispensable and I can’t thank you enough.”

Bylines Scotland are actively seeking talented people looking to get experience in writing, editing, SEO, graphics design, and IT for articles, podcasts and debates. If sounds like something you would be interested in learning more about, please get in touch via their website.
