CMP boss trains top investigative journalists

CMP principal, Cleland Thom, has trained journalists from some of the UK’s leading regional titles.

Cleland spent 15 years as an investigative reporter, and carried out assignments for the Sunday Mirror, News of the World and the BBC. His work was featured on BBC2’s Rough Justice.

He is now passing on the tricks of the trade to the next generation of journalists.

He has delivered in-house training courses for the Manchester Evening News, Liverpool Post and Echo, Wales on Sunday and the Birmingham Post and Mail and more than 50 other titles.
