Emma builds career writing for the UK’s leading publications

Completing the Copywriting course at the College of Media and Publishing was a turning point in Emma Drew’s career. Gaining accreditation as a certified copywriter led to opportunities to write for a wide range of travel, lifestyle, and culture-focused publications. Her work has appeared in The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, and The Independent, and she has contributed to magazines including Good Housekeeping and Red.

Today, Emma continues to freelance across editorial and branded content while also pursuing a passion project: a series of children’s books, including a French/English bilingual series that celebrates culture and language.

“The College of Media and Publishing was one of the first course providers to offer such a detailed and valuable copywriting programme. The practical skills, creative guidance, and confidence I gained during the course enabled me to pursue a successful career across marketing and content writing which opened doors to incredible opportunities. I would wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone starting out on their writing journey or looking to improve their editorial skills.”
