Paul Clark: Course tutor

Sports Beat Agency | North West Regional Assembly | CSV Manchester
I am a tutor on CMP’s social media marketing course.
I started my journalism career as a sub editor for a political journal based in Staffordshire.
I have also worked as a sports reporter for Sports Beat agency, producing copy for national papers and specialist sports publications.
In addition, I have worked in public relations and social media marketing, promoting ECDL for the now defunct North West Regional Assembly.
When I worked for CSV Manchester, I was editor of the magazine produced by the organisation’s volunteers. During my time there, I began my teaching career as a media tutor on the print and online journalism courses.
I have been a lecturer for over 11 years at a number of HE institutions and have taught a variety of courses including news, magazine, sports, magazine and online journalism programmes.
I’m currently working as a freelance journalist, alongside my other teaching responsibilities, writing content for a number of magazines and online music sites.
I am currently teaching ‘Using content in the Social Media Era’ at a university in Manchester.
