I am CMP’s tutor in social media marketing and PR.

I have used my extensive digital, social media and video skills to help a major UK utility company improve its customer communications. And I have led communications and marketing teams at several local authorities and a university.

As an award-winning communications professional I have significant experience working at a very senior level in both the public sector and higher education. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Public Relations and Communications Association.

My skills include media relations; internal, crisis and stakeholder communications; the web; social media and consultation and engagement. I’m also experienced in using video and audio/podcasting as a communications tool.

I am also a director of my own PR, communications and broadcast consultancy.

I am CMP’s career mentor and I also offer coaching services through my own businesses. I am currently supporting colleagues across the public sector.

I am also the chair of trustees for a charity based in Leeds.
