Shuna is a Professional member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading and a Partner Member of the Alliance of Independent Authors.

Before training as a professional editor and proofreader, she spent 20 years living and working in London, including eight years in the music business at EMI Music International, where she helped integrate new EMI companies into the business.

Rachel is Head tutor for the College of Media and Publishing and has been a tutor on the Proofreading and editing course since September 2016.

She has a BA and a PhD in classics and is a full member of the Association of Freelance Editors, Proofreaders and Indexers of Ireland (AFEPI Ireland). Rachel also has several professional qualifications from CMP, CIEP and the Publishing Training Centre (UK).
