How it works

Our online courses are delivered online, in English.

When you enrol, you get access to our Online Learning Area (OLA). There, you can download your course materials, complete your assignments, and contact your course tutor.

And you can study on the go, by using our OLA app on your IOS or Android smartphone or tablet.

Your learning materials are presented as:

  • Microsoft Word documents.
  • Ebooks and pdfs.
  • Links to videos, podcasts and other websites.

Our awarding organisation, the Quality Licence Scheme, praised our materials in their annual report. It said: ‘They are presented in easy-to-read Word documents which allow the inclusion of hyperlinks to articles, other websites’ tutorials and videos which enhance the learner journey and appeal to varying learning styles.’

Study when you want to

Online study is completely flexible. You can enrol when you like and begin when you are ready.

You then work at your own pace, and fit your studies around your lifestyle and commitments. There are no deadlines.

And our online courses never expire. You can take as long as you need.

This is how they work:

How is work assessed?

Your work is continually assessed as you study.

At the end of each Lesson, you will complete a practical assignment and submit it to your tutor.

They will mark it and provide feedback, constructive advice and a grade. If you fail it, you can resubmit it after following your tutor’s advice.

When you pass all the assignments, the QLS will send your certificate and Learner Unit Summary, which lists the skills you have passed.

You can list the certificate on your CV when you apply for jobs. It will also demonstrate your credibility as a freelancer.

What will I need?

To study our online courses, you will need:

  • An email account.

You may need additional equipment for some courses. Check the section ‘What you need to study this course’ on each course page.
