Matthew Layton: copywriting course

I enrolled on the copywriting course to develop my skills in regards to writing content for not only print items but also online, which is going to be a massive part of the direction the organisation’s marketing has already started moving to.

The course has exceeded my expectations. I have been on courses in the past which have definitely help me develop, but not in the practical sense. When I started the course, I started not knowing how the modules would be but after realising it was a course with lessons and then practical submissions, I was very impressed.

My support from Justine Holman has been outstanding. I would like to thank Justine for the tips and also for the comments after submissions. I made sure download the comments which I feel going forward I will always refer to. Very quick with marking and giving feedback also which I thought was brilliant. It was obvious Justine has a lot of knowledge of the individual modules in copywriting and was thankful I had a tutor from a writing background.

The course content covered everything I was looking for and more. I especially liked the press releases (which later helped me to craft press releases for my organisation) and also the SEO articles. Social media was also a good refresher.

I have learnt a lot about general writing, punctuation in the copywriting world and basic do’s and do not’s. I feel the real benefit came from specific lessons which you could not just find anywhere. I feel very equip to tackle writing for different materials and confident in my writing.

I have nothing negative to comment on the course. I would 100% recommend.
