Proofreading and editing course graduate, Carol Samlal, is getting plenty of proofreading and editing work.
She says that each lesson on the proofreading course has opened up a new opportunity for her.
She said: “I have done work for a couple of university students, a gentleman campaigning to be a councillor abroad and an events coordinator.
“Since then, I now work alongside a PHD student to copy edit her dissertation and work as a virtual assistant for the event coordinator. All this because I edited a piece of their work!”
Carol praised the course. “It has really helped me to fine tune my proofreading and copy editing skills. It offers great guidelines and methodology.
“I truly enjoyed it. It allowed me the flexibility I needed as a full time mum of three”.
