CMP sports journalism course graduate, Owen Neilson, has just completed six years as a professional sports commentator.
Owen, who graduated from CMP’s online sports journalism course in 2010, commentates on professional football, ice hockey and basketball.
He works for Infront Sports and Media and commentates on Serie A and Serie B as well as the Europa League.
He also covered the 2014 World Cup qualifiers for FOX Soccer, ESPN, Al Jazeera, Setanta Sports, NOW TV, Star Sports and beIN Sport.
Owen, who lives in Milan, has also delivered the commentary for World Championship Ice Hockey and Euroleague Basketball matches.
He was deputy editor of the Football Italiano website before he turned his hand to broadcasting.
